The plan is Medical History Disregarded (MHD) and without waiting period, which means that your previous medical conditions will be considered without additional medical questionnaires and that your coverage will be effective on day one without a waiting period.

We are proposing two levels of coverage :

  • level 1, 1 st EURO as a primary coverage;
  • level 2, a top-up coverage if you already have a national coverage from your country.

In order to provide a competitive range of pricing, we are offering three different areas of coverage. You will choose the region depending on where you live :

  • Worlwide, including USA*
  • Worlwide, excluding USA
  • Africa

*However, these coverages do not apply to US citizens residing in the USA.

Who can be covered?

In terms of eligibility, all former NATO Health plan beneficiaries, i.e. employees as well as their dependents are entitled to subscribe to the affinity health plan. These include:

  • Leaving agents (agents not entitled to NATO Continued Medical Coverage under NATO regulations)
  • Spouses and children who are no longer dependents under NATO regulations
  • Temporary staff

The only condition is to have at least 6 months of anteriority in the NATO Health Benefits plan at the time of subscription to the Affinity Health Plan. The subscription must be done before the age of 65 years old and the coverage will end at the age of 70 years old.
